What is Driver?
Signing In
Driver uses a two-step sign-in flow that automatically routes you to the right authentication method for your organization — Single Sign-On (SSO) if your company has it configured, or email and password otherwise.
How sign-in works
Signing in to Driver is a two-step process:
- Enter your email address on the Driver sign-in page and click Continue.
- Complete authentication using whichever method your organization has configured. Driver uses your email domain to detect this automatically.
Note: Previously, the sign-in screen asked for your email and password together. The two-step flow is consistent with how most modern enterprise applications handle authentication and sets the foundation for seamless SSO across your organization.
Signing in with SSO
If your organization has SSO configured, you'll be redirected to your company's Identity Provider (IdP) — such as Okta, Azure AD, or Google Workspace — to complete authentication. This is the same flow you use for other SSO-enabled applications at your company.
Once you authenticate with your IdP, you'll be returned to Driver and signed in.
Signing in with a password
If your organization is not using SSO, you'll be prompted for your password on the next screen after entering your email.
Troubleshooting
- You were redirected to a sign-in screen you didn't expect. Driver detects the right authentication method from your email domain. If your organization recently enabled or disabled SSO, the flow may have changed. Contact your Driver administrator if you're unsure which method to use.
- Your IdP rejected the sign-in. Confirm with your administrator that your account has been provisioned in the IdP and that you've been granted access to Driver.
- You don't know your password. Use the password reset link on the password screen, or contact your Driver administrator.
